I've been scrolling instagram for long time looking for some comfort chinese food. And i've been craving for wonton, gyoza, dimsum or anything like that. So i made my own dumpling from scratch. You can actually, boil, steam or fryed the dumplings. So here's my recipe!
Dumpling skin
8 tbs all purpose flour (tepung terigu)
2 tbs tapioka flour
8 tbs water
Mix all together, knead untill smooth and let the dough rest for 30 minutes. Then, roll out the dough, and divide 24 piece of dough or anything you like. Roll it into circle.
Chicken Filling
250 gr groud chicken
1 cloves garlic, minced
1 cloves scallots, minced
1/4 cup of spring onion
1/2 tsp pepper
1 tbs oyster sauce
1 tbs sesame oil
1/2 tsp soy sauce
A pinch of sugar
1 tsp salt
Mix all together in a bowl. After all well combine. Take one of skin dumpling and put the filling inside and shape it. Before you put it together into the container, dont forget to sprinkle a lil bit of flour, so it doesnt stick.
You can make the dumpling into soup, fried, or steam it.
