It was a beautiful day.
So my friend from Batam, Jessy came to tanjungpinang to visit her grandparents. And another day she asked me to accompany her around tanjungpinang because the last time shes here was 4 years ago.
I was about to bring her to Vihara of one thousands statues, sekuning, tanjungpinang city centre mall and of course dinner at Akau, Potong lembu. It was our go-to list.
But at that time i picked her it was raining so hard. We waited till the rain gone. I had to delete sekuning from our list, cause its gonna take time to get there and we didnt have much time anymore.
Actually, i was little bit lost tried to find out the street of vihara. Theres a lot of sign before u get to the street but theres none about vihara. Just some advertisement, you dont want to know. You have to really know the place before u get there. Or bring someone known the place well!
The name of vihara is Vihara Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva. It is located in Jl Asia Afrika km 14, Kijang Kota, TanjungPinang. Closed on monday, open from 8 am to 5 pm. You only have to pay Rp 5.000/person to get in.
